Daniel Shunqi Wang founded Hark Accountants in 2020 out of the need for simple and easy understood solutions in accounting and tax for small to medium businesses.
"HARK" stands for honesty, accountability, resilience and knowledge. We believe these are the key characteristics trusted tax advisers shall have, empowering business owners to make wise business decisions effortlessly.
We also educate business owners on accounting and tax knowledge and what matters are essential to the businesses, such as internal processes, business mindsets, etc.

Founder and Principal
Daniel Wang is the founder and principal of Hark Accountants, with 8 years of experience assisting businesses with tax compliance and business strategy. He has a background in both accounting and law.
Daniel started his career working in boutique accounting firms providing accounting, taxation and business services to small and medium sized businesses throughout Australia. He is a member of Chartered Accountants ANZ and a fellow member of The Tax Institute.
His career has seen him working in various industries, including professional services, retail, construction, real estate agencies, medical services, high tech start-ups, primary productions, and non-profit organisations.
He also has solid tax knowledge in investment portfolios, including fixed interests, share equities, derivatives, real estate properties and cryptocurrencies for individual investors and HNWIs.
